A trip through Physical Theatre

3 pieces give a wide view on Physical Theatre
Carambole dance & theater shows two pieces from the repertory and one short improvisation piece inspired from a choose theme or by music and themes of a visited country.
With the combination of elements from dance and theater Christiane Loch and Silvano Mozzini offer in a fascinating intensitiy the whole range from slow motioned to  hectical movements.
The expressive movement language connects dance, contact dance, theater, voice and surrealistic images to a strange, bizarre poetry.

1/8 mm man (based on Abe Kôbô‘s novel “Woman in the dunes“) - is  a piece about tolerance and the acceptance of crazyness – the own‘s crazyness as well as the other’s.
Sand trickles from the chandelier. She catches it and carries it in a bucket, handful of handful. Sisyphus. He follows the woman with big eyes, sometimes fearful, sometimes obsessive, waving his butterfly net for insects....

Focus “2...1“ Point (based on “Einstein’s Dreams“ from Alan Lightman“)
Imagine, 1 minute before HE wrote the famous formula he had a dream.
2 scientists trying in a funny and original way to examine the relationship between time, space and body. The exploration is transferred in the world of dreams, where ideas and images are not following a causal order.
An evening-length work titled, Dreams of Albert was created by Carambole on this subject

“Meeting Point.......“ is based on Carambole experience in intercultural projects.
The piece is build on a structured improvisation enriched by themes and music from the cultural environnement in which they are working. The impact with another cultur affect the own perception mirroring at the same time unknown or/and surprising aspects to the local audience.
Or they choose
for the improvisation a theme appropriate to the evening and the place they perform.
